How does background removal work?+
The tool samples the background color (auto-detected or chosen manually) and removes every pixel within the tolerance range, optionally smoothing the edges for cleaner results.
Which backgrounds work best?+
Solid, fairly uniform backgrounds (studio white, flat product shots, plain colors) give the best results. Complex or gradient backgrounds may need a higher tolerance.
Are my images uploaded?+
No. Everything runs in your browser using the Canvas API, so your files never leave your device.
Can I keep a colored background instead of transparent?+
Yes. Set a fill color before exporting if you want a solid background (for example, white for a JPEG-friendly result).
